Music Ministries

Text Box: The adult choir of Faith Lutheran Church is under the direction of Paula Leighton.
Paula has spent much of her life as a church musician and has an AA in Music from Green Mountain College in Poultney, Vermont. She also has a BS in Accounting from Bentley College, in Boston.

Since 1979, she has served in various church denominations as Organist, Choir Director, and Cantor. From 1987 to 2002, she was director of the Heavenly Fusion Women's Chorale, a group she founded. Since coming to Southwest Florida, she has filled in at several area churches on the organ, including Faith. She and her husband spend their summers in Maine.

She is a member of the American Guild of Organists and helped the group celebrate its 100th Anniversary by orchestrating the "World's Biggest Organ Concert"—simultaneous organ concerts given across the country with specific repertoire requirements. Her personal concert in this event also included three choirs from her church.

Her objective: "To continue my evolution as a church musician, a lifelong profession responsible for much of the joy in my life."

We are pleased to have Paula on our staff and pray that you will want to sing under her direction. She will be on our staff during season and will also be available to fill in on the organ.

 Faith Lutheran Church, Naples, Florida

Knowing Christ, making Christ known.

Text Box: Because we strive to show equal respect for all five preferences in worship music, we select songs and hymns meaningful to every age group via a balanced music selection consisting of (a) the great classic hymns written 1520-1870, (b) the old gospel hymns written 1871-1935, and (c) the three generations of contemporary praise songs written 1960-1978, 1978-1995, and 1995 to today.”

Choirs will resume in the fall.

We look forward to having you join us!
