I’m Don Treglown, the Senior Pastor at Faith Lutheran church.

I was born in Detroit, Michigan, and grew up in the Greater Detroit area. That explains why I am such a big Hockey Fan. I attended Concordia Theological Seminary in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, and had vicarages in both Leland, Michigan, and Truman, Minnesota.

Faith Lutheran Church originated out of a need to give birth to a mission-minded Lutheran voice in the midst of a rapidly expanding community. How that growth has affected this church! From the initial gathering on October 6, 1985, Faith has been a thriving congregation. In less than twenty years, we have grown from a group of 51 to the current membership of 780!

While Faith Lutheran Church was being planted and starting to grow, I was ministering to the Tagakaulo-Kalagan people on the southern island of Mindanao in the Philippines. My family and I served as Lutheran missionaries from 1987 to 2001, when I was installed as the Pastor of Faith Lutheran Church.

My family has always been an integral part of my ministry. My wife Jo and I were married in 1982. We have been blessed with four children. Katy and David were born in the

U.S., but grew up in the Philippines while Kirsten and Dominic were born in the Philippines. We really enjoy living in Southwest Florida and especially in the Naples area.

I heartily invite you to join the good company of people growing in faith in Jesus Christ. We are a joyful congregation of all ages who are rooted in God’s Word, growing in Christ, and living in Faith.
